In Apostle, posts can be shared to both personal pages and business pages. But if you schedule them the wrong way, your brand ambassadors might accidentally share to the wrong place.

If you’re hearing that posts meant for business pages are ending up on personal timelines (or vice versa), here’s how to make sure everything is set up correctly.

Key benefits / use cases

  • Send to personal pages for more authentic, peer-to-peer content

  • Send to business pages for company-approved, branded messaging

  • Target both when you need full coverage and flexibility

How to schedule for personal pages only

  1. Go to Create Post and build your content

  2. Click Proceed and go to the channel selection screen

  3. Only select ambassador names under “Ambassadors”

  4. Click Send and schedule the post

Your team will now receive a post suggestion that can only be shared on their personal social accounts.

How to schedule for business pages only

  1. Go to Create Post and build your content

  2. Click Proceed and go to the channel selection screen

  3. Click Pages to view and select connected business pages

    • Or select the connected pages shown under each ambassador

  4. Click Send and schedule the post

Your ambassadors will receive a suggestion that can only be shared to the business pages you selected.

How to schedule for both personal and business pages

If you want ambassadors to share to both, select both their names and their connected pages in the channel selection step.

⚠️ Important: Ambassadors will receive separate notifications for each version. One for the business page post and one for the personal page post.
