When you schedule a post in Apostle, you have three timing options. Each one affects when and how your ambassadors receive the post suggestion. Here's what each one means and when to use them.

Key benefits / use cases

  • Now is perfect for urgent or time sensitive posts

  • Single date gives you precision scheduling for events or launches

  • Date range helps stagger posts to avoid content overload

How to use post timing options

  • Now
This is the default setting. Your selected ambassadors will receive the post suggestion immediately after you save it.

  • Single date
Choose a specific date and time using the datepicker. The suggestion will be sent out exactly at that moment.

  • Date range
Set a start and end date and time window. Ambassadors will receive the suggestion at a random time within that range, like between Monday at 9:00 AM and Friday at 5:00 PM.

💡 Tip: Want certain ambassadors to receive the post earlier? Use the prio star to give them priority access.

⚠️ Important: For Business Page posts, notifications are always sent right away even if the post is scheduled for the future. Business Page owners can approve immediately, but the post will not go live until the set date and time.

Your team can always see when a post is scheduled to publish in the mobile app, email notifications or WhatsApp.
