Why do I need to approve my own business page posts?

It’s a quick final check before your post goes live on your business page.

Even if you're the one who created the post, Apostle still asks you to approve it before it goes live on your connected business page. This step might seem unnecessary at first, but it's there for a good reason.

Think of it as your last line of defense. A final review to catch typos, wrong links, or outdated info before your content hits the feed.

Why approval is required

  • Double check your content: Maybe you made a quick draft and forgot to edit it

  • Prevent accidental posts: It’s easy to select the wrong page or publish with placeholder text

💡 Tip: This step is especially helpful when scheduling posts far in advance. It gives you a chance to confirm the timing and content still make sense.

Want to skip manual approval?

You can. Just enable Auto Approve for your business page.

When Auto Approve is turned on:

  • Posts you’ve scheduled for your own business page will be published automatically

  • No need to approve each post one by one

  • You still have full control over the content beforehand

This setting is perfect if you trust your content and want to streamline your workflow.
