With Apostle, you can schedule Stories for both Instagram and Facebook business pages. This allows you to plan visual content—images or videos—in advance and engage your audience at the right moment.

⚠️ Important: Stories can only be scheduled for business accounts. Personal profiles are not supported for story scheduling.

How to create and schedule Stories

  1. Go to Create Story.

  2. Upload your story file (image or video).

  3. (Optional) Create separate variations for Instagram and Facebook if needed.

  4. Select the channels where you want the story to be published.

  5. Choose a time and date to schedule your story, just like a regular post.

💡 Tip: Want to schedule multiple stories at once? You can upload several images or videos at the same time. Use the Auto approve feature to automatically post all your scheduled stories without manual approval.

Limitations and important notes

⚠️ You cannot create or edit stories in Apostle’s composer.
Due to Meta’s API limitations:

  • You cannot add text, GIFs, or links to your story in Apostle.

  • Only pre-edited image or video files can be uploaded.

⚠️ File size and dimensions must be correct.
Your story file must meet the required size for Instagram and Facebook:

  • 1080 x 1920 pixels

  • Incorrect dimensions may prevent your story from being scheduled or posted. Apostle will show a warning if your file does not meet this requirement.

⚠️ Stories follow the team approval process.
Story posts will be sent to your team members for review and approval, just like regular post suggestions.
