You can schedule stories for both Instagram and Facebook business pages using Apostle. This feature allows you to plan your stories in advance, whether you’re sharing a video or an image, so you can engage your audience at the right time. Just follow the steps below to create, upload, and schedule your stories, ensuring they are posted according to your plan.

Before you start: Stories can only be scheduled for business pages. Scheduling stories for personal accounts is not supported.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  • Go to Create Story.

  • Choose your story file, either a video or an image, and upload it.

  • (Optional) If desired, you can create different variations for Instagram and Facebook.

  • Select the channels you wish to post the story on and schedule it, just like you would with a regular post.

Tip: Want to post multiple stories at once? You can upload several images or videos to create multiple stories and schedule them all at the same time. Use our Auto approve feature to automatically post to your accounts.

Important Information:

  • You cannot create or edit stories in Apostle’s composer. Due to API limitations from Meta, it’s not possible to add links, GIFs, or text in the story creation process. Only image and video files can be uploaded and scheduled. Make sure your story is pre-edited before uploading it to Apostle.

  • Ensure your story file has the correct dimensions. Instagram and Facebook stories must be uploaded in the right dimensions (1080 x 1920 pixels). If the story file is not in the correct aspect ratio, the post will not be successfully scheduled or posted. Warnings will be shown.

  • Story posts will be sent to your team members for approval, following the same process as regular post suggestions.
