Apostle offers flexible scheduling options to help you control when and how posts are shared by your team. Whether you want immediate distribution or a staggered rollout, you can easily tailor your approach. You also have access to extra options and WhatsApp-specific settings.

How to schedule posts

In the Send screen of the Composer, choose from three scheduling options:

  • Schedule now: Send out all notifications immediately

  • Single date: Schedule the post for a specific date and time in the future

  • Date range (recommended): Select a range of days (e.g. a week or a month) to distribute the post randomly over time. This avoids everyone posting at the same time

💡 Tip: Click More options to exclude weekends, adjust default posting times, or set an expiration date. These settings override your team defaults.

⚠️ Important: If you want to schedule business page posts at a different date and time than teammate posts, enable the extra time scheduler. If you're only using business pages, use the first scheduler.

Scheduling via WhatsApp

When your WhatsApp integration is active, you gain access to additional post scheduling options:

  • Enable WhatsApp for this post: Choose to send the post via WhatsApp

  • Enable WhatsApp reminders only: Send reminders via WhatsApp only. This setting disables standard WhatsApp post delivery

  • WhatsApp post suggestion progress: Monitor the number of WhatsApp messages sent versus your available package limit using the progress bar

⚠️ Important: The progress bar includes the total posts and reminders related to your message. If a reminder isn't sent, it won’t be counted in the final total, so the numbers may change after sending.

💡 Tip: If you reach your WhatsApp post limit, you'll receive an automatic alert. You can update your package settings in Integration Settings.
