Here are the most common reasons posts may not be shared and how to resolve them.
Step 1: Check the post in the post overview tab
Navigate to the Post and planning menu.
Open the Post overview tab.
Click on the post to open the post details.
Select the Ambassadors or Pages tab in the top-right corner.
Locate the ambassador or page where the post is not being shared.
Step 2: Investigate the Issue
1. Page connection is broken
Apostle relies on active connections to share posts to businesspages. These connections may need to be refreshed periodically due to security protocols.
Look for a yellow connection broken icon.
The user will recieve an email and get a message in the platform to reconnect the business page.
It is also possible to manually send a reminder to reconnect the business pages. To manualy send the reminder please follow these steps.
Navigate to Members in the left menu.
Open the Business Pages tab.
Locate or search for the business page name.
Click on the reconnect symbol in the ACTIONS column.
2. Error icon in the SHARED column
Check for an error icon in the SHARED column in the post details.
Hover over the icon to view the specific error message.
This is the error that we get back from the social media platform.

3. Post not accepted or shared by the brand ambassador
Brand ambassadors must accept or share posts in the software for them to be shared to their accounts. Ensure they:
Accept posts via email, the mobile app, or WhatsApp.
To check approvals:
Go to the STATE column in the post details.
If the state is "Pending," the post has not yet been approved by the user.
Optional: send a reminder to share the post with the arrows icon in the ACTIONS column.
4. Post is planned in the future
In the SUGGESTED ON column, verify that the suggested on date has passed.
If the date is in the future, the post will not yet be shared.
This suggestion on date is the date the post can or will be shared.
5. Media Exceeds Platform Limits
Social media platforms impose limits on image/video sizes, bitrates and durations. If these limits are exceeded, the post cannot be shared.
When creating a post, Apostle will display warning messages in the composer to help you stay within the supported limits.
