You can disconnect Apostle from your accounts whenever you wish. Moreover, you can manually adjust the permissions Apostle has for your account. Below are the steps to remove Apostle from each platform – Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The process may vary for each platform.

Facebook and Instagram

Please be aware that disconnecting Facebook and Instagram is applicable only to business accounts. Business pages are linked through personal accounts, but these personal accounts are not directly connected to our platform. Your personal account data remains secure and separate from our system.

  • Login to your personal Facebook account (make sure this is the account with which you connected your Facebook business page to Apostle). NB: These changes cannot be made from your business page login, only personal.

  • Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.

  • Select Settings and privacy, then click Settings.

  • In the left menu, click Business Integrations.

  • Click View and edit to change Apostle's permissions, or click Remove to fully delete Apostle from your account.

Important: Click View and edit to see an overview of all Apostle's permissions for both your connected Facebook and Instagram pages. Always double check the permissions before making any changes. These changes may result in sharing issues if the right permissions are not selected.

LinkedIn

Please be aware that disconnecting your personal account from Apostle will automatically disconnect your connected business pages.

  • Login to LinkedIn on your personal account (make sure this is the account with which you connected your LinkedIn business page to Apostle).

  • In the top menu, click Me and select Settings & Privacy.

  • In the left menu, click Data Privacy

  • Scroll down and select Permitted Services.

  • Select Remove for Apostle.

  • You have now successfully disconnected from Apostle.

Please note: You can easily reinstate the connection when you share your next post. If you disconnect your account, you will need to reconnect it when you're ready to share a new post. Business pages always need to be manually reconnected.
