Assigning topics to posts
Adding a topic to a post ensures that it's aligned with your content strategy. Here’s how to assign one:
Go to Create Post in the left-hand menu
Start writing your post and add any media
Locate the Topics section
Click to open the dropdown and select one or more relevant topics
Finish your post and schedule it as usual
💡 Tip: You can assign multiple topics if your post falls under more than one theme.
Filtering on topics while creating posts
Using topics during post creation helps you suggest posts to the right people. After writing your post, head to Step 2: Choose Channels:
Use the Topics filter in the ambassador table to select users who are linked to the same topic(s) as your post
This ensures your content is only suggested to the team members it’s most relevant to
💡 Tip: To make this work efficiently, subscribe team members to topics first. Read how to subscribe users to strategy topics

Analyzing topic performance in Insights
Once you’ve labeled posts with topics and suggested them to the right people, you can start tracking results in Insights:
Go to Insights in the main menu
Use the Topic filter to view results for specific themes
See which topics perform best in terms of shares and reach
Also, check the Topic Overview under Individual Statistics to get a quick summary of:
How many posts were created under each topic
How often each topic has been shared by your team
How many inputs per topic were uploaded by your team
This helps you spot content gaps and make data-driven decisions for future planning.
