Subscribing teammates and business pages to topics ensures that all relevant brand ambassadors (e.g. for thought leadership posts) receive and can share content from your strategy.
If you have created a strategy and invite new users to your team, they will automatically have the option to subscribe to the available topics. This helps teammates choose the topics they want to share content about, boosting engagement and improving share performance.
💡 Tip: Teammates can also update their topic preferences anytime via their personal settings on the web or mobile app. All changes will sync to the admin dashboard.
⚠️ Important: If you prefer teammates not to self-subscribe to topics, you can disable this option in Team Settings.
How to subscribe teammates and business pages to strategy topics
Subscribe teammates to a topic
Navigate to Members.
Click the Edit icon next to the teammate you want to subscribe.
Check the boxes for the topics you want to subscribe them to.
Click Save.
Subscribe business pages to a topic
Navigate to Members.
Click the Business Pages tab.
Click the Edit icon next to the page you want to subscribe.
Select the topics from the dropdown menu.
Click Save.
💡 Tip: To subscribe multiple teammates at once, use the bulk update method. Connected business pages will automatically sync with the same topics as the teammate.
⚠️ Important: If you don’t have a content strategy set up yet, please create one first.
How to use strategy topics when posting
Create a new post in the platform.
In step 1, label the post with one or more strategy topics.
Proceed to step 2 (Choose Channels).
A prompt will appear asking if you want to sync all users subscribed to the selected topic(s).
Confirm the sync to automatically select relevant teammates.
💡 Tip: You can also filter by strategy topic or group in this step to manually refine your selection.

What happens when I subscribe a teammate to a topic?
The teammate becomes eligible to receive posts labeled with that topic, based on your strategy settings.
Can I remove a topic from a teammate or business page?
Yes. Just return to the Edit screen, uncheck the topic(s), and click Save.
Do business pages always follow the topics of their connected teammates?
Yes, connected business pages will automatically sync with the same topics as the teammate.
Can teammates choose their own topics?
