You can easily add or update multiple team members in Apostle using two bulk actions:
Invite new members with either a quick copy-paste of email addresses or by uploading an Excel file.
Update existing members (such as editing their parameters or group assignments) using an Excel upload.
💡 Tip: Bulk updates are especially helpful for managing team parameters or adding members to groups or topics. Learn more about setting up parameters, groups and topics in Apostle.
⚠️ Important: Always use the provided example Excel file to format your list correctly. Make sure your column names and parameter values match the structure in the template.
How to invite multiple team members
Navigate to Members in the navigation bar.
Click + Add membership.
Click Add multiple users at once.
Choose one of the following options:
Copy and paste emails
Use an Excel file
Method 1: Copy and paste emails
Select the role for the new members: Master or Ambassador.
(Optional) Add them to one or more groups.
Paste the email addresses, separated by commas.
Method 2: Use an Excel file
Click Download XLSX template file.
Fill in the columns in the template file with your members’ information.
Save the file.
Upload the file using the Click here button.
⚠️ Important: After uploading the Excel file, all new members will immediately receive an invite email to join the Apostle platform.
How to update multiple team members
Navigate to Members.
Click the upload symbol in the top right.
Download the example file.
Edit the file to update existing members. (Note: Do not add or remove columns)
Upload the updated file.
💡 Tip: After uploading, check with a few team members to confirm the updates were applied correctly. This helps you catch any formatting issues early before applying changes at scale.
