Apostle supports post sharing via both email and the mobile app. Some team members prefer receiving notifications by email, others only use the mobile app. The Team Settings allows you to manage how and when users receive updates, so you can tailor communication to fit your team.

⚠️ Important: Changes made in the Notification Center apply to all team members. It is currently not possible for individual users to adjust their own notification preferences, except for WhatsApp. For managing WhatsApp notifications, refer to this article.

Notification types

In the Team Settings, you can adjust three types of notifications:

Post notifications

Control how team members are notified when a new post is scheduled.

  • Choose between email, mobile app, or both

  • If email is disabled, make sure each team member is actively using the Apostle mobile app

  • These settings affect all future post suggestions

⚠️ Important: If you want to change your WhatsApp notifications, please check out this article.

Announcement notifications

Decide how team members receive announcement messages.

  • Choose email, mobile app, or both

  • Announcements are used for internal communication like team updates or urgent requests

Inspiration notifications

These notifications are only available for admins.

  • Set how often you want to be notified when a team member uploads content to the Inspiration Wall

  • Choose between:

    • Never

    • Daily (at a specific time)

    • Direct (as soon as content is uploaded)

💡 Tip: Adjusting your inspiration settings helps you stay on top of new content without being overwhelmed.
