The Leaderboard in Apostle is a fun and effective way to track and reward your ambassadors’ activity. Team members earn points by sharing posts or uploading content, helping to increase engagement in a friendly, competitive way.

You can customize the point system and time range, or turn off the Leaderboard entirely if it doesn’t suit your team.

⚠️ Important: The Apostle support team cannot reset your team’s leaderboard.

How the leaderboard works

  • The Leaderboard resets automatically on the 1st of every month.

  • Team members earn:

    • 10 points for sharing a post

    • 20 points for uploading content to the Inspiration Wall (default value, adjustable in Team Settings)

  • Scores are based on activity during the selected date range.

💡 Tip: You can manually adjust the number of points earned per post in Step 3 of the post creation flow.

Accessing the leaderboard

In the mobile app

  1. Open the Apostle app.

  2. Tap the menu icon in the top right corner.

  3. Select Leaderboard from the navigation menu.

You’ll see a ranked list of your team members (including yourself) based on their points.

Note: The leaderboard date range shown in the app is set by the admin in Team Settings. App users cannot change the view themselves.

Available date range options (admin-configured):

  • All time

  • This year

  • Current month only

  • Last 3 months (including current)

  • Last 6 months (including current)

In the web dashboard (admin only)

Admins can view full leaderboard data over extended time periods:

  1. Log in to the Apostle web platform.

  2. Navigate to the Leaderboard via the admin dashboard.

This view offers a broader perspective than the app, helping you track progress and trends over time.

Customize the leaderboard

You can manage Leaderboard settings in Team Settings:

  • Turn off the Leaderboard entirely if it’s not relevant to your team.

  • Change the number of points earned per upload in the Inspiration Wall (default is 20).

  • Adjust settings without needing to contact support.

Why use the leaderboard?

  • Encourages friendly competition and boosts motivation.

  • Increases social media activity through sharing and uploads.

  • Makes it easy to recognize your most engaged ambassadors.

Best practices for rewards

To get the most out of the Leaderboard, connect it to a reward system. For example:

  • 🥇 1st place: Gift card or bonus

  • 🥈 2nd place: Free lunch or company swag

  • 🥉 3rd place: Shoutout or small prize

💡 Tip: Consistent rewards help build lasting habits. Celebrate your top performers regularly to maintain momentum!
