Once your Teams account is connected to Apostle, you can receive post suggestions and share them on LinkedIn or X directly from Teams. You can also use Teams to submit your own content ideas to your content team.
How to get started
An Apostle admin synchronises your Teams account with Apostle. As soon as your account is synced, you will receive a welcome message in Teams with information on how everything works and what is expected of you. No further setup is needed on your end.
⚠️ Important: Sharing through Teams is currently limited to personal LinkedIn and X accounts. Support for Facebook and Instagram will be added in a later update.
Sharing a post through Teams
Every new post suggested to you will appear as a direct message from Apostle in Teams. You will automatically receive a notification when a new post is ready for you.
Open the chat with Apostle in Teams.
You will see a preview of the post. Click View & Share.
You will be redirected to the share screen, where you can edit the text, reschedule the post, or share it immediately.
Click Post and select your preferred channel: LinkedIn or X.
If this is your first time sharing, you will need to connect your LinkedIn or X account. Follow the steps on screen to complete this.
That's it! Your post has been shared. This process repeats for every new post suggested to you.
💡 Tip: We strongly advise editing every post to match your own tone of voice. It's your network, so the more personal your post feels, the better it will resonate with your connections.
Submitting content ideas through Teams
Through Microsoft Teams you can also submit your own content ideas directly to your content team. Your admin will set up a dedicated Teams channel and give you access. The Apostle bot is automatically added to this channel and will forward your ideas straight to the Apostle dashboard.
Here's how it works:
Ask your admin to add you to the designated Teams channel.
Type @Apostle followed by your message. Add any relevant context about your idea and attach any media if applicable.
Send your message. The Apostle bot will automatically confirm that your submission has been received.
Your content team will then take over, refine your idea and schedule it as a post for the relevant colleagues. Once the post is ready and scheduled for you, it will appear directly in your Teams chat for you to share.
💡 Tip: The Teams channel is designed for inspiration and collaboration. Feel free to use it as a regular chat to brainstorm ideas with colleagues. Only tag @Apostle when you are ready to submit something as a definite content idea.
