How does it work?
Members receive a system chat message in Bundeling with a link to the suggested post. Via that link they are automatically logged in, where they can view, edit and share the post. Bundeling is the platform where the post is delivered. The post itself is created from within Apostle Social.
Before you begin
The Bundeling integration is an add-on and is activated via the Apostle support team. Get in touch to enable the integration for your environment.
Step 1: Create an API key in Bundeling
Log in to your Bundeling dashboard and go to API Keys.
Click Add API key and give the key a recognisable name.
Leave Require user authentication unchecked.
Enter the IP addresses from which the key may be used.
Agree to the Bundeling API agreement and click Save.
Copy the value under Key. You will need this in step 2.
⚠️ Important: The key is only shown once. Save it somewhere safe before continuing.
Step 2: Create a connector in Apostle Social
Go to Team Settings via your avatar in the upper right corner.
Open Integration Connectors in the left menu.
Click Create Connector and select Bundeling.
Enter the API key from step 1.
Click Save.
Apostle validates the key and automatically places the necessary webhooks in your Bundeling environment. The overview will immediately show whether the connection was successful.
Step 3: Sync users
Click Users on the connector.
Start the sync. Existing Bundeling users are automatically created and linked in Apostle.
After the initial sync, everything runs automatically via webhooks:
New Bundeling users are created in Apostle.
Changes to first name, last name or email address are applied.
Deleted users are also removed from Apostle.
⚠️ Important: Users need to be synced first before they are able to receive posts via Bundeling. This applies to both users who are already active in Apostle and newly added users imported from Bundeling without an existing Apostle account.
Sending posts via Bundeling
Scheduling posts works the same way you're used to in Apostle. No additional steps are required to deliver a post to synced members via Bundeling.
Create a post via Create Post.
In Choose Channels, assign the variants to the right members.
Set your date and time.
Click Plan this post.
⚠️ Important: A synced Bundeling user will no longer receive emails with suggested posts and can only share via Bundeling. This is intentional, as Bundeling members are not familiar with Apostle and can do everything from within their familiar environment.
💡 Tip: Send a test post to yourself first to check the full flow before sending it to your members.
Business pages and channels
If you have connected business pages in Apostle, suggested posts for those pages will also be delivered via Bundeling. Members receive these posts in the same way as personal posts, via the system chat.
The channels available depend on the pages you have connected in Apostle. Possible channels are:
Personal LinkedIn
Business page LinkedIn
Business page Facebook
Business page Instagram
Business page X
Note: Posting to personal Facebook and Instagram accounts is not possible via Bundeling.
Insights
Posts shared via Bundeling are visible in Apostle Team and Post Insights. All statistics are retrieved, including reach and engagement per post and per user. It is currently not possible to filter on whether a post was shared via Bundeling or via another channel.
Note: Posts shared via Bundeling are registered as shared via email.
Setting up an app link in Bundeling (optional)
Add a direct link to Apostle Social in the Bundeling app, so members can navigate there in one click.
In Bundeling, go to AppCMS via the left menu.
Drag the New link block to the list and give it a recognisable name, for example Apostle Social.
Enter the following as the link: https://www.apostle.social/token-exchange?token=bundeling_{{useridentity}}
Click Publish.
💡 Tip: This is only useful if Bundeling members are already familiar with Apostle and actively use it. If you work exclusively within Bundeling, we recommend skipping this step to avoid confusion.
