How to use the Apostle app
1. Signing up
To use the Apostle mobile app, you must first have an Apostle account.
💡 Note: If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you still need to download the app. You can then tap Login with SSO to access the platform directly, no signup needed. See our SSO article for more information.
If you don't have an account yet:
Your admin will send an invitation email.
Click Set up account in the email.
Fill in your personal details and create a password (you’ll use this to log in to the app).
Click Proceed.
2. Download and install the app
Open the App Store or Google Play Store.
Search for Apostle.
Install and open the app.
Log in with your email and password, or use Login with SSO if applicable.
Note: If your inbox is empty, it means no posts have been scheduled for you yet. You’ll receive a push notification when new content is available.
⚠️ Important: You remain in full control of your accounts. You decide whether to share, edit, or decline a suggested post.
3. Share content from your inbox
Your Inbox displays all posts currently scheduled for your account. Here’s how to share:
Tap the post in your inbox.
Tap the Edit button to customize text or media (if enabled by your admin).
Choose your preferred platform.
Share the post immediately, or schedule it for later.
⚠️ Important: Different platforms have different sharing flows. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully. If you're only connected to business pages, the post will be scheduled automatically to the assigned platform, you won’t need to select one. You’ll still have the same options to edit, approve, or reject the post.
💡 Tip: Always edit your post to match your tone of voice. This increases authenticity and engagement.
To delete a post:
Tap the thumbs down icon to remove it from your inbox.
Leave feedback to inform your admin why you chose not to share it.
4. Uploading content to your admin
In addition to sharing, you can contribute new content by uploading it directly from your phone. This helps keep content fresh and authentic.
Open the app and log in.
Tap the + icon at the bottom.
Write your message and add media if needed.
Tap Send to submit it to your admin.
💡 Tip: Snap a photo during your day and upload it. These real-time moments often get the best engagement.
Note: When you upload content, your admin will receive a notification. It’s up to them to decide whether to include your content in the team’s content plan. If approved, the post will be scheduled for you (and possibly your colleagues) to share on their own accounts.
