The Content Calendar is a powerful tool for visualizing your planned posts and managing your content schedule. It provides an intuitive view of your posts in both monthly and weekly formats. Here’s how to use it effectively:

Viewing your posts

Use the top left month option to switch between the week and month view. The week view gives a more in depth view of the planned content, with bigger media items and platform information.

Post color coding

  • Blue: these are draft posts, indicating they are still being created.

  • Purple: these are planned/published posts, showing content that has been finalized or already published.

  • Grey: indicates a missing post. If there is an item in the planning row with no post, it will appear grey, indicating it’s still pending.

Interacting with the calendar

  • Hovering over a post: when you hover over a post, it will be highlighted, helping you easily see how long the post is scheduled for.

  • Start of the post: if a post starts in an earlier month, it is characterized by a small highlight in dark purple. This visual cue helps you identify when the post begins, even if it spans across multiple months.

Managing posts

  • Edit, copy, or delete: you can easily edit, copy, or delete posts directly from the calendar view by clicking on the post. This ensures you can quickly update any details or remove posts as needed.

Accessing full post details

To view the full post details, simply click on a line in the calendar. This will open the post, allowing you to review and make any necessary changes.

Tip: Combine the content planning with the calendar. All rows you create in the planning (both drafts and scheduled posts) are automatically displayed in the calendar. This gives you a clear overview of any gaps in your planning.
