You can edit or delete any post that is scheduled but not yet shared. This can be done from both the Post Overview and the Content Calendar. Once a post is shared, it can no longer be edited or removed from within Apostle.

How to edit a scheduled post

You can edit a post from either view:

  1. Go to Posts & Planning in the left sidebar

  2. Locate the post you want to edit (via list or calendar)

  3. Hover over the post and click the Edit icon

  4. The Composer will open

  5. Make your changes (text, media, audience, platforms, etc.)

  6. Click Save to update the scheduled post (no need to reschedule).

Note: You can only edit posts that have not yet been shared by team members. If the post has already been shared, you'll need to make changes directly on the social media platform.

โš ๏ธ Important:
It is currently not possible to edit the date and time of a scheduled post. If you want to change when the post is published, please:

  • Make a copy of the original post

  • Reschedule the new version with your updated timing

  • Archive the old scheduled post to avoid confusion

How to delete a scheduled post

  1. Go to the Post Overview (list view) in Posts & Planning

  2. Select the post you want to delete

  3. Click Delete selected in the bottom right corner

  4. Confirm the deletion

  5. The post will move to the Bin tab

From the Bin tab, you can either restore or permanently delete the post.

โš ๏ธ Important: Posts that have already been shared by your team members will not be removed from their social media accounts. Only unshared scheduled posts will be deleted from Apostle.
