Use Apostle to upload and share PDF files or PowerPoint presentations (carousels and slideshows) directly to LinkedIn. This functionality is available on both web and mobile.

How to upload a PDF or slideshow on desktop

  1. Navigate to Create post in the top-left corner or the left-hand menu.

  2. Add a subject, topic, and text for your post.

  3. Click the Document icon (next to the image and video icons).

  4. Select a PDF or PowerPoint presentation (.ppt or .pptx) from your local files or Media Library.

  5. Click Use files to attach your document.

  6. Your document will appear in Preview mode.

  7. Click Switch to reader mode to scroll through the full document, zoom in and out, or open it in a new tab.

Note: Preview mode only shows the first page of your PDF or presentation. To view the full document, switch to Reader mode.

⚠️ Important: Document sharing is available only on LinkedIn. These files are shared natively on the platform, allowing readers to swipe through multiple pages.

How to share PDF files on mobile

  1. Team members receive a push notification via the Apostle mobile app when a document is scheduled.

  2. Open the app and locate the scheduled post.

  3. Tap to view the post in Preview or Reader mode.

  4. In Reader mode, users can scroll through the full document before sharing.

  5. Choose to Post, Edit, or Delete the document like any other scheduled post.
