Sharing posts with links is helpful to guide your audience to an external source or your own website. It can occur that the metadata of your own website or external website is not set up correctly. You can change the image and/or title to your own preference:

  • Go to Create Post and paste the link in the text field. A link block will now be automatically generated.

  • Click the Edit button next to the link to open the link editor.

  • Change the Meta Title and Meta description to your own preference.

  • Hover over the image and click the Pencil icon to change the image. You can choose any image from your Media Library or upload a new image.

  • Click the Save button and the link block will be updated.

  • Check the preview to make sure the new image is set up correctly and continue creating your post.

Please note: If you are using the same link block in multiple variants, you can update them altogether using the Save all button in the link editor.

Warning: Link blocks can only be changed for LinkedIn. The other platforms will always post the original metadata, even if you changed them in Apostle.
