By default, the Canva integration is included in our Performance Driven plan, and for a limited time it’s available on every plan

Connecting your Canva account to Apostle makes it easier to create, edit, and share visuals directly within the platform. This helps keep your content creation process efficient and ensures brand consistency across all your posts.

Why use Canva with Apostle?

Canva is a user-friendly design tool that allows you to create professional visuals without needing advanced design skills. By connecting your Canva account to Apostle, you can easily import your Canva designs into Apostle’s media library and edit images from Apostle directly in Canva when needed. This streamlines your workflow and saves time switching between tools.

How to Connect Canva to Apostle

Start by logging into your Apostle account.

  • Open the Integrations tab.

  • Click Connect to Canva. You will be redirected to Canva to log in and authorize the connection.

Please note:

  • You do not need a paid Canva account to use this integration.

  • Canva connections work on an individual level, meaning each admin can connect their own account.

  • You can disconnect your account at any time in the same Integrations tab.

How to Disconnect Canva

If you want to disconnect your Canva account:

  • Go to Team Settings.

  • Open the Integrations tab.

  • Click Disconnect Canva.

Importing Designs from Canva

After connecting your Canva account, you can import your designs directly into Apostle.

  • Go to Media Library (or open it while uploading a file via Create post).

  • Click on the Canva Library tab.

  • You will see all your Canva designs available in Apostle.

  • Click Use image to import a design into your Apostle media library.

⚠️ Important: Only image files are fully supported when importing from Canva. PDFs and video files are not supported. Video files will sync to Apostle, but only the thumbnail can be used in posts.

Please note: New Canva designs sync instantly to Apostle.

Editing Apostle images in Canva

You can also edit images stored in Apostle directly in Canva. This is useful if you want to update or improve visuals before scheduling them to your team.

  • Go to your Media Library.

  • Hover over an image and click on the Canva icon.

  • Alternatively click the eye icon to open the preview screen.

  • Then click Design with Canva.

  • You will be redirected to Canva to edit your image.

  • Once finished, click Return to Apostle. Your updated image will be saved back to your Media Library and will be ready to use.

With this integration, you can easily manage your visual content in one place, simplify your content creation process, and maintain a consistent look and feel across your social media posts. You do not need advanced design skills to make the most of this integration.
